Torturous Calm

It's maddening to sit and wait for something dreadful and scary to happen - like my 1st Year Med Exams for instance. Every minute of the day snailed down till they feel like hours! Slowly, I'm feeling that the initial apprehension is beginning to meld into something more akin to tedium.
This odd elastic property of time however inspired my next story + illustration. It'll take a bit of time before I can complete it. For anyone (if any) that's waiting - I plea for patience on your part. I like this next piece I'm working on. I hope many other would feel the same way as well.
